Gastronomy

Kreuzberg, where the culinary offerings range from outstanding Italian cuisine and excellent oriental cuisine to unusual sushi shops. When it comes to food hotspots in our neighborhood, the Schlesische Tor, the Maybach/Paul Lincke Ufer, the Oranienstrasse/Aldabertstrasse and our personal favourite, the Markthalle 9, which surprises with unusual creations from a number of cuisines from all over the world, are not to be missed.

Parks

When it comes to city parks, no city in Europe comes close to Berlin and Kreuzberg makes a big contribution to this. In our opinion, the most beautiful parks are the Viktoriapark, the Park am Gleisdreieck Park, the Görlitzer Park and the Böcklerpark at the famous Admiralbrücke, where quite a few adventures have found their beginnings. Also, we would recommend that spot to meet new people to start your own Berlin adventure.

Sideseeings

Kreuzberg also has something to offer in terms of sights. The most famous sights in our district would be Checkpoint Charlie and the remaining pieces of the Berlin Wall on the Spree-riverbank at East Gate. The largest jewish museum in Europe is also located in Kreuzberg, as well as the technical museum Berlin, which has thousands of exhibits ready for its visitors. Equally interesting are the legacies from the 2nd World War such as the Story Bunker or the Fichtebunker, both places offer guided tours.

Clubs und Nightlife

Berlin has a special status worldwide for its legendary nightlife, and luckily for you, most of it, is in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. Art & Culture

Last but not least, it should be mentioned that Kreuzberg has also lot to offer in the field of art and culture due to its large number of artists and creative people. Hotspots in this regard would be the Feuerle Collection and the Berlin gallery, but also the Berlin Wall at the East Gate, as parts of it are constantly being changed by artists. Otherwise, art and culture can also be found in the many art-/bars and cafes of Kreuzberg.
